Prof. Dr. Abdulmunem Mohammed Ali and M.Sc. student Abdulrahman Waad Hudali have successfully registered seven new bacterial strains in the Global Gene Bank (NCBI). These strains belong to the following species: Serratia liquefaciens, Serratia plymuthica, Microbacterium saccharophilum, Gordonia hongkongensis, Bacillus velezensis, Bacillus subtilis, and Acinetobacter junii The accession numbers are: PV843801, PV843914, PV844160, PV844258, PV844381, PV844382, PV844406. These species were isolated from groundwater samples in Rabia District, using precise cultivation techniques and advanced molecular diagnostics. Since these strains have not been previously recorded, this achievement adds [Read More]
