This Tuesday morning, November 4, 2025, the master's thesis submitted by the student khanzad Masoud Abdul Hamid and tagged “preparation and study of some complexes of transitional and non-transitional elements with new ligands”was discussed in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Sciences. The thesis aims to prepare and diagnose a group of new lycands derived from pyridine and pyrimidine compounds, and prepare their metal complexes with some transition and non-transition elements, using a set of analytical and spectroscopic techniques to determine the nature of their binding and chemical structure. The study also included a theoretical evaluation of these compounds [Read More]
