Under the direction of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, the University of Mosul has concluded its summer training programs for students from its colleges, with the participation of more than 5,000 male and female students in government departments, institutions, and private-sector companies throughout July and August.
The programs, organized by the Department of Science and Technology Parks / Qualification and Employment Division, aimed to strengthen the practical aspects of students’ academic specializations and equip them with the skills and experience necessary to enter the labor market.
The training programs concluded with a field visit to Asiacell Telecommunications Company, which welcomed more than 120 male and female students from various academic disciplines. This step reflects the importance of partnerships between the university and labor-market institutions in preparing a generation that is more competent and better equipped for the future.
