The Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University of Mosul Continues to Support Specialized Training Programs

The Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the College of Petroleum and Mining Engineering and the Energy Pioneers Team/Nineveh, continues to implement the Oil Training Program, which includes a series of specialized training courses targeting students and graduates.
As part of this program, a training course entitled “Work Permit System and the Importance of Documents Attached to the Work Permit” was conducted and delivered by Eng. Abdulrahman Adel Salman, a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer. The course is part of a training program aimed at enhancing participants’ practical skills and knowledge in the oil and industrial sectors.
The course addressed several important topics, most notably the concept and importance of the work permit system, occupational safety procedures, job hazard analysis, safety briefings, risk assessment, as well as the importance of the documents and records attached to work permits.
The organization of these training courses reflects the Department of Science and Technology Parks’ commitment at the University of Mosul to supporting specialized training activities and strengthening integration between academic knowledge and practical application. This contributes to preparing students and graduates and enhancing their readiness to meet the requirements of the labor market.
