Announcement.. Symposium. Controlling Stray Dogs by Using Surgical and Hormonal Methods
Under the patronage of President of University of Mosul Prof. Dr.Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmady. The Department of Surgery and Theriogenology, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul will be hosting the third Symposium titled “Controlling Stray Dogs by Using Surgical and Hormonal Methods”. This Symposium will be held at the hall of Scientific and Literary Forum of the University of Mosul on Wednesday 22ndJanuary, 2020.This One-day Symposium will consist of four selected talks by Professor Dr. Muneer S. Al-Badrany, Dr. Omer Faysal Fadel, Prof. Dr. Laythmahmoud Alkattan and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulelah Al Rahawy followed by the guest speakers.The main objectives of this symposium are: to discuss the animal welfare in Islam and international law, the best way of controlling the stray dog population and the potential uses of surgical and hormonal methods to control stray dog population.
