College of Veterinary Medicine

On Wednesday, 12thFebruary 2020, A committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq visited the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Mosul.They were received by Prof. Dr. Dhafer Muhammad Aziz, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine as well asDr. Saevan Saad Al-Mahmood, the Dean Assistant for Administrative Affairs and staff. They visited the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and were provided with information about the departments of the hospital. Dr. Dhafer gave information on the history of hospital, how it has progressed to its current status.The committee assessed the important role provided by Veterinary Teaching Hospital to educate the veterinarians of tomorrow and expanding their knowledge to improve animal lives.At the end of tour, they requested an appointment to be made to invite the deans of the colleges of Veterinary Medicine in Iraq to see the hospital in order to develop similar ones in their colleges.This visiting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muneer S. Taha, the Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs of University of Mosul.
