College of Veterinary Medicine

Based on the announcement of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to adopt electronic exams for undergraduate and postgraduate students.The College of Veterinary Medicine conducted all the preparations for conducting these exams using Canvas Learning Management System. This activity has been accompanied by holding a number of meetings by the faculty members in order to clarify the mechanism for conducting these exams. In addition, our college conducted a pilot electronic test for students in order to reassure them with ease of questions and simplicity of using the program.Our college chose Canvas to conduct these exams in a smooth, understandable and simplified manner for all students. Unlike other learning management systems, a Canvas test submits each student answer the moment it is answered. Canvas also tests for an active internet connection. If network connections are lost during an exam, a warning is immediately displayed for the student to re-connect before continuing the exam.The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dhafer Muhammad Aziz and our staff recommends that all students be calm and fully prepared to take these tests. The Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine requests the families of our students to provide the appropriate atmosphere in order to conduct these tests in an atmosphere of calm and avoid psychological stress.We wished all the students’ success and approval in the performance of the electronic exams by using Canvas platform.
