According to the seminar series for College of Veterinary Medicine that takes place over a period of a week or sousing Google Hangouts Meet.OnThursday 30thAugust 2020, Department of Microbiology, delivered seminaron the topic “Cultivation of Parasites”presented by Dr. Haitham Sedeeq Albakri.The seminar was focussed on the parasite cultivation, which requires expertise and knowledge of all kinds of microbiological cultures. It is sometimes employed for accurate identification of the parasite species. It is more often employed for obtaining large yields of the parasite as a source of antigen, animal inoculation, drug sensitivity testing, experimental or physiological studies, and teaching purposes.This seminar was attended by head of department and a number of college staff and postgraduate students.
