🩺 Workshop Held: “Save a Life” — In Collaboration with Your Health First Team

The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a practical and awareness-focused first aid workshop titled “Save a Life” for its faculty and staff, in collaboration with the Your Health First volunteer team. The workshop was graciously hosted in the halls of the College of Nursing.

This voluntary initiative, led by a group of dedicated doctors and nurses, aimed to:

• Emphasize the importance of first aid knowledge in emergency situations

• Equip participants with basic life-saving skills

• Raise awareness on how simple actions can make the difference between life and death in critical moments

🔹 The training included both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical sessions, helping participants gain the confidence and competence to respond in emergencies.

🎓 On behalf of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Sivan Saad Al-Mahmoud (Administrative Deputy Dean) extended deep thanks to the Your Health First team for their valuable efforts and practical demonstrations. Sincere appreciation was also extended to the College of Nursing for generously providing training spaces and supporting this initiative.

💡 The college looks forward to expanding such workshops in the future, especially to involve students, empowering them with the skills to act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations.
