The Legal Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Internal Audit and Control Division at the College of Veterinary Medicine, organized a seminar titled “The Role of Public Sector Employees in Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Awad Ali, who discussed the responsibility of employees in addressing corruption as both a national and ethical duty.
The speaker explained that corruption involves the abuse of power for personal gain, such as bribery, favoritism, and the misuse of public funds. He emphasized the importance of transparency and professional ethics, calling for support of oversight bodies, protection for whistleblowers, and the cultivation of an institutional culture rooted in integrity.
