A master’s thesis presented by Omar Khalid Hamdoun, titled “Efficiency of Prostaglandin E₂ and Interleukin-1α for Early Pregnancy Diagnosis in Local Iraqi Ewes”

The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, held the defense of a master’s thesis titled “Efficiency of Prostaglandin E₂ and Interleukin-1α for Early Pregnancy Diagnosis in Local Iraqi Ewes” by Omar Khalid Hamdoun (Veterinary Obstetrics) on August 18, 2025. The study highlighted the potential of PGE₂ and IL-1α, measured by ELISA alongside ultrasonography, as biomarkers for early pregnancy detection.
