Training course in collaboration with professors from Turkey

The Department of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, in collaboration with professors from Turkish universities, organized a three-day training course on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, entitled:

Methods for Diagnosing Animal-Origin Pathogens.”

The course included both theoretical and practical sessions that introduced participants to animal-origin pathogens and modern diagnostic techniques. These topics held great importance in preserving the health of both animals and humans.

Throughout the three days, faculty members, together with their Turkish colleagues, delivered scientific lectures that enriched the expertise of researchers and postgraduate students and strengthened academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.

This course formed part of the College’s efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
