Workshop – Activating Researchers’ Accounts on Scientific Platforms
As part of the activities of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and in collaboration with the University Presidency / Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, a workshop was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, titled “Activating Researchers’ Accounts on Scientific Platforms.”
The workshop aimed to introduce key research platforms and the mechanisms for registration and activation, such as Web of Science and Scopus, in order to empower researchers to enhance their academic presence and broaden the dissemination of their scientific output.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Solav Jabbar Kakl (Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology) and included a actual demonstration of the steps for account activation and linking them to published research.
This workshop is part of the college’s efforts to achieve the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education) by supporting scientific research and developing researchers’ skills.
