The College of Veterinary Medicine Participates in a Web-conferencing Arranged by the Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs of University of Mosul
On Saturday, 21stMarch 2020, The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dhafer Muhammad Aziz and the Dean Assistant for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Raad Abdulghani Basheer and number of our staff participated in a zoom video web-conferencing. This web-conferencing was organized by the University Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Muneer Salem Taha and the Swedish side.Under the guidance of President of University of Mosul Prof. Dr.Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmady, more than ninety members from the various colleges of University of Mosul participated in a web-conferencing, which aim to use video communications in education between the members of the teaching staff and students.Because of Covid-19 and restricting travel to university campus, the university found a variety of distance learning resources. One of the technologies already availableto all college, staff and students is zoom video web-conferencing. This system provides high-quality audio and video and is available to all university students, college, and staff. Zoom’s rooms, where teacher can interact with students in discussion and facilitate group work.Prof. Dr. Muneer is planning and hoping zoom video-conferencing can be a great technological solution for remote teaching due to this an unusual situation.
