Training Course: (The Role of Functional Integrity in Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption)

The Legal Affairs Division and the Internal Audit and Control Division, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University, organized a training course entitled “The Role of Functional Integrity in Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption” for the period from November 18 to 19, 2025.
The course was delivered by:
- Asst. Lecturer Mahmoud Awad Ali – Head of the Legal Affairs Division
- Mrs. Intisar Hazem Ahmed – Head of the Internal Audit and Control Division
The course included discussions on the types of financial and administrative corruption, methods of detection and combating it, as well as highlighting its risks and negative impacts on government institutions and citizens.
It also addressed the relationship between functional integrity and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, through strengthening the principles of transparency and accountability and establishing a work environment based on good governance, which positively reflects on institutional performance quality, efficient resource utilization, and achieving Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
