A PhD dissertation at the History Department, on: (The American Aid Program and its Impact on the Beneficiary Countries, Turkey-Israel as a Model 1961-2001)

On Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis in modern and contemporary history on: (The American Aid Program and its Impact on beneficiary Countries Turkey-Israel as a Model 1961-2001), with the presence of a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.
The study, presented by Ahmed Shakier Al-Khafaji, at the Department of History, dealt with one of the tools of American foreign policy that has been used since the end of World War II in order to support its strategic interests at many countries of the world, up to the issuance of the Foreign Aid Law and the establishment of the United States Agency for International Development, as well as dealing with the impact of this aid on the beneficiary countries by studying two models: Turkey and Israel.
