The History Department, in cooperation with the Translation Department at the College of Arts – University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop as part of the continuous education program titled: “Scientific Issues in Translating Historical Titles from Arabic to English.”

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Ammar Ahmed Al-Huraithi, while the session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Saad Tawfiq Al-Bazzaz Al-Mashhadani, with active academic participation.

This workshop aims to enhance knowledge exchange between the disciplines of History and Translation and highlight the challenges researchers face in accurately conveying historical titles between the two languages. This effort contributes to serving scientific research and developing specialized translation skills.
