Dean of the College of Arts Participates in PhD Thesis Defense at Tikrit University and Discusses Scientific Cooperation
In a scholarly and academic atmosphere, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, Dean of the College of Arts – University of Mosul, participated in the defense of the PhD thesis presented by student Saad Ahmed Abdullah at Tikrit University.
The thesis, titled: “Social and Economic Life in the Arab-Islamic State through the Narrations of Ibn Asakir in his book: The History of the City of Damascus (1-132 AH/622-749 CE),” was discussed in the History Department of the College of Education for Humanities on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Promoting Scientific Cooperation
During the visit, the Dean of the College of Arts held a productive meeting with Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, and Professor Dr. Mirbad Salih Dhamin, Dean of the College of Arts – Tikrit University.
The discussion focused on ways to solidify academic cooperation between the two institutions and open new horizons for developing educational and research programs. This is intended to enhance the quality of scientific output and contribute to serving the academic movement in both universities.
