Artificial Intelligence and University Work – College of Arts

A scientific symposium at the College of Arts discussed the role of artificial intelligence in the development of university work. The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the Faculty of Arts organized, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, a specialized scientific symposium entitled: “Artificial intelligence and its role in the practical side in Iraqi universities,” in the framework of keeping pace with the accelerated technological transformations and their implications on the development of the academic environment. The symposium  included a series of scientific lectures that dealt with the practical applications of artificial intelligence in educational institutions, and the mechanisms of employing artificial intelligence technologies in supporting university work. The sessions lectured by Dr. Omar Tawfik Abdulkader, Ass. Lect.  Sumaya Younis Saeed, and Dr. Heba Saadallah Younis.
