College of Basic Education

The College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on (Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali and his sayings on criticism and authentication, a critical applied study in his book Al-Takhwif Min Al-Nar), on Monday 9/8/2025 in the (Political Sciences) Hall in the second complex, part of which was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus Al-Juraisi and a number of the department’s lecturers.
The thesis, presented by the student / (Osama Ahmed Saleh) Department of (Islamic Education), aimed to (introduce an important figure in the science of Hadith, namely Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali).
The study touched on several axes, including: (Introducing the science of criticism and authentication, its general and specific terms, and the critical statements of the narrators who were criticized).
The study reached many results, including: (Identifying the sayings of Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali and comparing them with other critical sayings of critics, may God have mercy on them all).
The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Abdul-Jawad Salem Othman, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Hekmat Abdul-Razzaq, Dr. Ammar Badr Fattah, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abu Dhar Luqman Muhammad Amin Al-Habar as a member and supervisor.
