The College of Basic Education held an international symposium entitled: “Iraq’s Historical Role in Supporting the Palestinian Cause.”
With the participation of Palestinian researcher Dr. Amna Mahmoud Abu Hatab, the College of Basic Education’s Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of History, held its first international symposium on “Iraq’s Historical Role in Supporting the Palestinian Cause.” The symposium took place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the Umm al-Rabee’in Hall at the college.
The symposium saw the participation of several professors from the Department of History, who presented and discussed a number of diverse and insightful historical research papers on Iraq’s historical role in supporting the Palestinian cause, both officially and at the popular level. The Dean of the College of Basic Education, his deputies, several department heads, and a number of researchers and interested individuals attended the symposium.
