Vision, mission, and objectives

Vision:

To attain leadership, distinction, and innovation in both academic and scholarly fields at the
local, regional, and international levels, striving to foster a society imbued with Quranic
culture and Islamic values, and to graduate highly qualified professionals capable of
competing on a global scale.

Mission:

The Department of Islamic Education and Quranic Sciences aspires to contribute to the
preparation and training of competent university-level educators who are deeply committed
to their mission, proficient in their field of specialization, and capable of effectively applying
educational knowledge to address challenges in basic education. The department is dedicated
to community service in accordance with the highest recognized standards of academic
quality.

Objectives:

1. To prepare well-qualified university educators equipped with the necessary
knowledge, skills, and competencies to teach the Holy Quran and Islamic Education
with high efficiency and effectiveness, in accordance with contemporary educational
trends and scientifically developed programs that align with ongoing advancements
and meet the demands of the labor market and comprehensive development.
2. To enhance students’ educational performance in basic education through the
memorization, proper recitation (Tajweed), and comprehension of the Holy Quran.
3. To cultivate scientific thinking, its methodologies, and to foster innovative and
creative skills among students.
4. To establish an academically stimulating environment within the college that
promotes creativity and contributes to enhancing the university’s role in society and
its engagement with the wider community.
5. To strengthen students’ sense of collaboration through participation in purposeful
activities, student forums, cultural events, and the organization and attendance of
scientific conferences and seminars at the local, regional, and international levels, in
pursuit of academic accreditation.
