Dr. Anas Hazim Mohammed held a lecture about the safety and security of school labs on Tuesday / 16/4/2019 fro fourth year students at sciences department . She explained that a laboratory is a source of academic knowledge students rely on and there must be some basic conditions to build a lab to mention but few :1-to be far from other study classes 2-to encompass the students number 3-To have ener and exit doors 4-to have good seats 5-to have light and ventilation sources as well as fuses 6-The upper layer of glass must be break-free , equipped with gas , fire extinguishers , wear gloves , coats , goggles , wash hands carefully , get rid of chemical wastes , medical fibers , pesticides quickly . there must be disposables equipped with lids . to watch for bottles with toxicity , burning , radiant , explosives , acids and environmental hazardous
