Vision, mission, and objectives

Vision:

Developing scientific and educational knowledge among the department’s female students to enable them to develop their skills and personal abilities, providing laboratories and manual laboratories that keep pace with the modern requirements for work in the field of kindergartens, and striving to establish a nucleus for children’s theater and open a model applied kindergarten to enhance their practical education.

Mission:

Preparing kindergarten teachers who believe in God, love their homeland, and are proud of its values ​​and cultural heritage, in addition to qualifying them to be competent in performing their educational and professional mission, capable of participating effectively in raising children and educating them with sound education to move to the primary education stage, and in building the homeland and preserving its unity, characterized by work ethics.

Objectives:

  • Preparing specialized scientific cadres in the field of kindergartens.
  • Holding scientific seminars and training courses to develop kindergarten teachers within the continuing education plan.
  • Building appropriate tests and measures in the field of childhood.
  • Activating research fellowships and scientific visits for department teachers to learn about the reality of countries in kindergartens and contemporary developments in kindergarten curricula and teaching methods.
  • Enhancing educational and psychological scientific research in the field of kindergartens.
