About the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences:
The Department of Education and Sports Sciences was established in all basic education and general sports technology (1993), so that the number of teaching staff members in it reaches (32) male and female currently. It grants a Bachelor’s degree in basic education in education and thousands of male and female students graduate. Postgraduate studies were also opened to grant a master’s degree in the year (2005-2006) in the specialty (mathematical sciences), and doctoral studies in the specialty were also opened since the academic year (2018-2019) to grant a doctorate in the specialty (mathematical sciences), as there are (9 ) Specializations in the department include (sports psychology, training science, training physiology, sports biomechanics, measurement and evaluation, motor learning, methods of teaching physical education, management and organization, philosophy of sports education statistics). More than 50 additional students have graduated for graduate studies over the past years and until now. now . The department aims to prepare a generation of major university graduates with university skills in many sports fields, which necessarily include global, applied, quantitative, and competitive technical fields, so that they do not resort to working on the educational side, but rather their skills enable them to enter the field of training, educational administration, sports supervision, and practice many tasks that are consistent with His experimental scientific abilities even during a full period in the Education Department. Therefore, the Sports Department aims to prepare a sports cadre that improves the scientific skills related to sports games and events so that he is able to serve the university and education in the school environment and influence it.
