Master Thesis Viva-Mathematics Department

Master Thesis Viva in the College of Education for Pure Science entitled “A new mathematical representation method using e-abacus diagram”The College of Education for Pure Science, University of Mosul, has done the Master Thesis Viva entitled “A new mathematical representation method using e-abacus diagram”,On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, the College staff including the respected Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Ismail Ibrahim, the Honorable Scientific Associate and Administrative Associate, the Honorable Head of the Department of Mathematics, and a number of the college’s teachers were attended the viva. This study, presented by the Master student Hiba Rayid Hashim Abdul Qadir in the Department of Mathematics, The thesis achieved several goals, the most important of which is the translation of mappings and their transformation into partition theory. Hence, the second goal was deeper, which is to address certain types of mappings (or most of them) and to work on finding a general rule for calculating the possible partition values or calculating the number of partition cases if possible based on the results that were obtained Finally, the third goal was to address the installation of mappings and try to reach a general rule as well. We encountered some difficulties in some types of mapping, so the most appropriate solution for them was to find algorithms and programs to calculate the hash values, due to the difficulty of calculating them manually due to the large number of cases. The Viva committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sinan Omar Ibrahim from Tikrit University, College of Education for Pure Sciences and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ali, University of Mosul, College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Lecturer. Dr. Ali Abdul Qadir Bilal, University of Mosul, College of Education for Pure Sciences and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Ammar Seddiq Mahmood, University of Mosul, College of Education for Pure Sciences.
