Master Thesis Viva in the College of Education for Pure Science entitled ” Use regression method to determine optimal weights of binary data with graphic representation “The College of Education for Pure Science, University of Mosul, has done the Master Thesis Viva entitled ” Use regression method to determine optimal weights of binary data with graphic representation “,On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the College staff including the respected Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Ismail Ibrahim, the Honorable Scientific Associate and Administrative Associate, the Honorable Head of the Department of Mathematics, and a number of the college’s teachers were attended the viva. This study, presented by the Master student Khaled Fattah Sheet Fanash Al-Saffar in the Department of Mathematics, focused on the study of the statistical method of analysis of disaggregated data where responses are linked pairs. The mathematical fundamentals of data analysis of this type were addressed.The analysis of disaggregated data from ancient and important statistical sciences, where several studies examined methods of giving ideal weights contrary to psychological studies by giving codes such as variables (Y1,Y2,Y3) (0, 1, 2) and studying averages and varying many statistical metrics accordingly.Our methodology here is to reduce and maximize variability within variables so that it leads to groups of variables that are independent of each other. Observation of weights other than arbitrary nasal weights according to the amount of variation and the concentration of observations in each unit. After that, find the ideal weight calculated through several methods, such as the method of repetitions, the method of charts, associations, etc., and each method characterized by a certain level of accuracy, efficiency and some negatives. In our study, emphasis was placed on studying graphs to compare arbitrary weight and average responsive weights to find the ideal weight, and then studying the correlation the higher the linear correlation between variables, the more linear convergence in data representation to become a single line, which is what we will see in our letter through the practical application that was taking data from several high schools for students with psychiatric disorders and nightmares during sleep.The Viva committee was chaired by Asst.
