On Thursday, August 3, 2023, the College staff including the respected Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Ismail Ibrahim, the Honorable Scientific Associate and Administrative Associate, the Honorable Head of the Department of Chemistry, and a number of the college’s teachers were attended the viva.

This study, presented by the master student Ammar Yaser Hashim Mohammad AL-Mashhadani in the Department of Chemistry, included preparation of some pharmaceutical azo dyes by coupling four medicinal compounds with meta-aminophenol reagent and para-amino benzoic acid reagent by forming diazonium salts. to see the effect of the compensator type in addition to the reagent type on Stability constants for dyes prepared under study

The main subject of the study is determination of the stability constants for pharmaceutical azodyes formed using the spectrophotometric analysis method. As this study required following steps:

Finally research included study simplified theory in an attempt to determine bonding site between drugs with the reagents through calculating of some electronic parameters and energy. as well as the geometric dimensions of dye at optimal formula . We have tried to find the relationship between these parameters with stability constants by trying to link them values.
