The fortieth anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him…

On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the martyrdom of the beloved of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family), the master of the youth of Paradise, and the father of the free, Imam Hussein ibn Ali, peace be upon him, the College of Education for Pure Sciences, represented by its esteemed Dean, Professor Dr. Jassim Fatehi Ali, extends its deepest and most sincere condolences to the entire Islamic nation, especially the free people of this great nation. Drawing inspiration from this painful tragedy, we learn the greatest meanings of sacrifice and pride embodied by the martyr, and recalling his resounding cry in the face of injustice and oppressors… “Humiliation is far from us…” whose echoes still resonate among us, present through one of its most prominent manifestations today in bleeding, oppressed Gaza. May this cry of his revive the spirit of revolution against all forms of injustice and corruption, and build a society governed by harmony, brotherhood, and cooperation, based on truth and human justice, regardless of sectarian affiliations.
