Master’s Thesis at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Biology…

In fulfillment of the fourth goal (Quality Education) of the Sustainable Development Goals, a master’s thesis entitled “The Impact of Hologram-Enabled Educational Stations Strategy on the Comprehension of Biological Concepts among Third-Year Intermediate Female Students and the Development of Their Scientific Awareness” was defended at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Part of the thesis defense was attended by the Head of the Department of Biology, Professor Dr. Yousef Jabbar Ismail. The study, presented by student Ikram Ibrahim Latif Hamoud Al-Sheikh Easa from the Department of Biology, examined the impact of the educational stations strategy supported by Hologram technology on the comprehension of biological concepts among third-grade middle school students and the development of their scientific sense. A sample of third-grade middle school students at Kalthoum Intermediate School for Girls in Mosul was chosen intentionally from the research community for the academic year (2024-2025). The sample was chosen intentionally from the research community, with a total of (88) students, with (43) students in the experimental group and (45) students in the control group. The researcher conducted a equivalence process between the members of the two groups in a number of variables, namely (intelligence score, chronological age calculated in months, the general average for the second middle school grade, academic achievement in biology for the second middle school grade, and a pre-scientific sense test).
The discussion committee was chaired by Experienced Professor Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Yaseen Abdullah, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Badr Hamad and Assistant Professor Dr. Waad Ghanem Bdewi as members, and Professor Dr. Wafaa Mahmoud Younis and Lecturer Dr. Rabee Hazem Muhammad as both members and supervisors.
