Master’s Thesis at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Biology…

In fulfillment of the fourth goal (Quality Education) of the Sustainable Development Goals, a master’s thesis entitled “The Effectiveness of a Program Based on Blended Learning on Fifth-Grade Science Students’ Achievement in Biology and Developing Their Awareness of Information Technology” was defended at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
The study, presented by the student Ruwa Ahmed Abdurrahman Al-Najjar from the Department of Biology, examined the effectiveness of a program based on blended learning on fifth-grade science students’ achievement in biology. The researcher adopted an experimental design for two research groups. The research population consisted of (7,651) female students in middle schools in the center of Nineveh Governorate for the academic year (2024-2025). The researcher intentionally selected Cordoba Middle School for Girls, with a sample size of (70) students.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Raed Idrees Mahmoud, along with Professor Dr. Wafaa Mahmoud Younis, Assistant Professor Dr. Radwan Muhammad Mustafa as members, and Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Fattah Zaidan Al-Abaji and Assistant Professor Dr. Baydaa Abdul-Aziz Muhammad Saleh as both members and supervisors.
The master’s thesis was accepted. Congratulations to the student and supervisors on this scientific achievement.
