About the Industrial Advisory Council- IAC

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and as part of the university’s commitment to community service, the Industrial Advisory Council has been established at the College of Education for Pure Science. The council includes members from the college and the private sector, aiming to provide scientific consultations to governmental and private institutions, organize joint workshops and conferences between the college and those institution, including governmental, non-governmental, and civil society organizations.

The council also plays a key role in curriculum development to meet the needs of the community and labor market, in addition to supporting innovations and implementing joint projects.

Vision:

A partnership between the college and governmental/private institutions to develop curricula and exchange expertise.

Mission:

To achieve sustainable development and advance the educational and industrial sectors in Iraq.

Goals:

  1. To strengthen cooperation between the College of Education for Pure Science and the community through scientific consultation.
  2. To encourage researchers at the college to engage in applied research, market scientific outputs, and develop solutions for industrial sector challenges.
  3. To facilitate knowledge and technology transfer between both sides and to enhance competencies.
