Master’s Thesis in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Biology…

In fulfillment of the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education), a master’s thesis entitled “The Effect of Using Marill-Hardman’s Brain-Directed Teaching Model on Fourth-Year Science Students’ Achievement in Biology and the Development of Their Psychological Capital” was discussed in the College of Education for Pure Science at the University of Mosul on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
The study, presented by the student Rahma Muhammad Muhiiddin Qasim from the Department of Biology, examined the effect of Marill-Hardman’s Brain-Directed Teaching Model on the achievement of fourth-year secondary school students in biology and the development of their psychological capital. The researcher adopted an experimental design, intentionally selecting a research sample from fourth-year secondary school students at Balqis Girls’ Secondary School in Mosul. The research sample consisted of (97) students.
The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Wafaa Mahmood Younis, with Assistant Professor Dr. Asim Ahmed Khalil and Assistant Professor Dr. Aziz Muhammad Ali as members, and Assistant Professor Dr. Maarib Muhammad Ahmad and Assistant Professor Dr. Banan Rakan Dabdoub (may God have mercy on him) as both members and supervisors.

The master’s thesis was accepted. Congratulations to the student and her supervisors on this scientific achievement.
