College of Education for Pure Science

The department of chemistry in the educating college for pure science was established 1975. Over the last decades, and with the excellent academic lectures provided by our educational programs, thousands of B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D alumni have graduated from the chemistry department and gone on to successful and exemplary careers in industry, academia and schools government.It is worth mentioning that there are six main disciplines in chemistry including:Organic chemistry, non-organic chemistry, physical chemistry, industrial chemistry, biochemistry and analytical chemistry. All these disciplines aim to transform raw chemical materials or natural products into more useful and valuable forms through variable chemical reactions in the laboratories and research centers. Furthermore, the department works collaboratively with other institutes and companies pioneered the development of new high tech materials for industrial applications.
