Discussion of a Master Thesis entitled (Investigation of Stripping Behavior of Overlapped Materials Reinforced by Fibers and Granules)
In the presence of Dean of the College of Engineering, a master’s thesis was discussed in the Department of Mechanical Engineering
at University of Mosul, entitled (Investigation of the Stripping of Behavior of Overlapped Materials Reinforced by
Fibers and Granules) by Ahmed Walid Khaled on Thursday 9/1/2020.
The thesis included the manufacture of a device to check the sand erosion of polymeric composites,
manufacture of polyester fiber reinforced polyester models once and silicon carbide granules again,
calculate the rate of erosion and know the behavior of erosion of polyester compounds,
and compare the results for the two types of polyester composites.The discussion committee consisted of the following:1- Prof. dr. Farouk Mansour Mahdi (Chief).2- Asst. Prof. Awwad Halloush Khidr (member).3- Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Dahham Younis (member).4- Dr. Abdel Haq Abdel Qader Hamed (member and supervisor).Then read the decision of the discussion committee and included acceptance of the thesis,
while granting the student a master’s degree.
