The meeting of Dean of College of Engineering with the lecturers with postgraduate degrees from outside Iraq
On Wednesday 15/1/2020, Dean of the college of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Bayar Jaafar Al-Sulayvani,
met a group of college of engineering graduates with postgraduate degrees from outside Iraq recently
at the Euphrates Hall in Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering.
Where he welcomed them and highly praised the efforts made by the lecturers in obtaining higher degrees.
The Dean directed a set of directives, the most important of which are:
• Urging the Lecturers to apply what they have learned abroad and implement it in the reality of education
and scientific research in our institutions, especially if they are assigned relevant administrative tasks and positions.
• Urging the publication of research in Al-Rafidain Engineering Journal in order to improve it and make it up
to the level of discreet international journals.
• Encouraging teamwork through conducting research that includes ideas from various disciplines of the departments
of the College of Engineering.
• Trying to overcome all current obstacles and work with the potential.
The dean also listened to the opinions of the present lecturers and promised to harness everything possible
for the purpose of advancing the reality of education and scientific research.
