A master thesis was discussed in Department of Civil Engineering / college of engineering at University of Mosul on (The use of some waste to improve some engineering properties of soil ) for the student ( Omar KhairAldeen Muhyiddin ) on Sunday (08/16/2020) and at the meeting hall at Presidency of University of Mosul, by depending on remote electronic communication with some of the discussion committee members .The thesis included a study of the possibility of reusing old demolition waste and industrial waste andusing themingeotechnicalapplications.It also addressed the possibility ofusingsoft materials(ODf, NDf)In treatingswollensoil properties.The study found the possibility of using demolition materials treated with cement(OD) As layers under the base(Sub-base) As it increased the maximum dry weight unit when adding cement, as well as increasedcompressive strength, and also reached the possibility of using materials(ND) Cement treatment as base layers(base)Where it worked to increase the unit dry weight Great,The discussionCommittee consisted of : -1.Assist.Prof.Dr.Salah Wadie Ibrahim ….
