A master thesis was discussed in Computer Engineering Department /college of Engineering at University ofMosul on ( Networks Service Monitoring System based on Intelligent Agent ) for thestudent (Ahmed Mohammed Bashir) on Wednesday 07/10/2020 .
The thesis included building a monitoring system that monitors Internet network services using the smart client ,as the proposed system uses agents to make a connection between the server and the router board’s operating system, which is calledmicrotech (Mikrotik) Mediated by the(API) and theuse of all the features granted bythis operating system in terms of control and monitoring and transferring it to the monitoring system in the form of information collected from all parts of the network and presented in the form of tables that are designed and the information required to be monitored is specified and displayed in the web interface.
This system can be accessed and its data monitored from anywhere in the network, allowing remote access to the network and the ability to maintain it from anywhere without the need to be near the devices.Also, there is no need for experts to manage the system to use simple interfaces that are designed and control the degree of complexity according to the size of the network and the specifications of the system to be monitored.The thesis concluded that the proposed network service monitoring systemis expected to solve the problems encountered by telecom centers when monitoring networks .Because of its ease of use and low cost, as well as providing the functionality required for network monitoring.The discussion committee consistedof:
