University of Mosul : Discussion of a master’s thesis tagged with ( Nonlinear analysis of soil structure interaction of separate footing under different loading )
A Master ‘s thesis in Department of Civil Engineering /College ofEngineering/University of Mosul discusses ( Nonlinear analysis of soil structure interaction of separate footing under different loading )for the student (Taha Mohammed Ayoub Suleiman ) on Thursday15/10/2020 on the discussion hall of Civil Engineering Department .
The thesis includes the effect of the overlap between the soil and the foundation on the behavior of the reinforced concrete foundations and they are loaded with two types of loads: the first type is central static loads and the second type is central loads with added bendingtorque and byemploying the method of the elements specified in the program(ANSYS V15).
The results of thestudyshow that the higher the vertical stiffnessvalue(FKN) Thisled to theapproach ofpregnancy failure of pregnancy failure in thecase offull bonding both in thecase of thefoundation who sits on thesurface of thesoil or thefoundation buried.
The thesis recommends to study the effect of the kinetic loads on the interference between the soil and the single foundation, which is a result of either the vibrations of the machines or the occurrence of earthquakes. The discussion committee consistedof:
