College of Engineering

Under the supervision of Mr. Amer Al-Azzawi, the graduate project of student ( Sarer Nasser ) from Department of Architecture, college of Engineering, University of Mosul, received the honorary rank in the Excellence Award for Graduation Projects category of eighteen participating universities on the project to develop Al-Nabi Jarjis area within the old city of Mosul, and the arbitrators have praised the effort made by the student and the supervisor, which is a positive message for what the old city will be like. This award is part of a series of awards for architecture, sponsored by Coventry University, universities and other academic institutions. The Architecture Engineering Department has been actively involved in this award for nine years since 2012 and has received numerous awards for student graduate projects as well as at the Departments level through the Student Support Committee and the representative of the Excellence Award at University of Mosul.
