Dr. Riyadh Zaki Sabry, a lecturer in Department of Electrical Engineering / College of Engineering at University of Mosul participated in the 35th session of the International Conference on Lightning Protection in Sri Lanka, with his research entitled”Frequency Dependent Resistivity of Soil,Bentonite and Soil-Bentonite Mixes: With Special Attention to Electrical Grounding System”On09.24.2021.It is noteworthy that the conference is held every two years in various countries of the world and is one of the highest conferences in the field of lightning strikes. It is attended by senior researchers around the world who have experience in this field and a large research accumulation, where the h-index for some of them reaches more than 55.The number of countries participating in the conference reached more than30countries, and Dr. Riyadh Zaki is the only participant from Iraq, whose participation was electronic. wishing him and the engineering staff success in demonstrating the college and its leadership in and international forums.
