The activities of College of Engineering Week 2022 continued for 2nd day 23/5/2022 electronically on “Meet” platform becouse of the bad weather, and with a simple modification to the agenda so that all activities would be of the type of lectures to match the style of electronic presentation.2nd day activities consisted of two sessions. The first session included a lecture on recycled aggregates, which was presented by Dr. Nadia Sedeeq Ismail (Department of Civil Engineering), followed by another short lecture on smart home management presented by Dr. Basman Mahmood Al-Hafidh (Department of Computer Engineering), which is one of the projects of College of Engineering to design a smart house. The last lecture in the first session was for each of dr. Oday Asal (Department of Civil Engineering) and Dr. Oday Al-Chalabi (Department of Architecture Engineering) about the latest and most important achievements of Engineering Consultant Bureau in city of Mosul service .The second session included three lectures, the first, in English, about the twinning of city of Mosul with an Italian city, presented by Mr. Michelangelo Fabrini , and the second lecture presented by Mrs. Reem Hatem Rashid (Engineer in Nineveh Water Directorate) on the techniques used in infrastructure to rationalize consumption. The last lecture of the second day presented by Mr. Alaa Al-Naddaf and Mr. Mohammed Al-Barwari (Representatives from UNICEF ) on the techniques that are used To re-treat the water for irrigation purposes.
