PH.D Dissertation on “Performance Enhancement of Smart Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) for Healthcare Applications”
A PH.D dissertation was discussed in Department of Computer Engineering / College of Engineering at University of Mosul entitled “Performance Enhancement of Smart Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) for Healthcare Applications” submitted by (Sara Raid Abed) on Monday, Sep.19, 2022.thesis proposed three routing protocols, named Control Packet Aware On-Demand Routing (CPAOR) protocol for large number patient monitoring, Stable and Balance Energy Routing (SBER) protocol and Hot-Spot Aware Multicost based Energy-efficient Routing (H-SAMER) protocol for single patient monitoring. The propose protocols decreases the number of control packets and adds awareness to the transmission of control packets, which can extend the network lifetime.
