Workshop in Department of Mechanical Engineering on Researcher Identity
A workshop was held in Department of Mechanical Engineering entitled “Creating a Researcher Identity (ORCID)” presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Daham Younis and Mr. Majed Medhat Saeed (Lecturer), on Wednesday 28/09/2022.The workshop included a definition of one of the most important platforms concerned with documenting data of researchers and academics, the mechanism for creating an account in it, and the most important applications and uses of the account.It is noteworthy that there are several platforms that attach importance to the ministry’s orientations, including ORCID, and those who have an account in it have higher annual evaluations, as they are important in many research activities and registration in international journals, and the Iraqi researcher is part of the global scientific activity.
