Meeting of Industrial Advisory Council for Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering
As part of the regular meetings of the Industrial Advisory Council for Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, the second meeting for the academic year 2024–2025 was held in the department’s facilities on Sunday, April 20, 2025, with the presence of the Industrial Advisory Council members.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Miqdad Abdulghani, Head of the Department of Dam and Water Resources Engineering, along with members of the department’s advisory council.
The agenda focused on discussing the results of the graduation survey, which aimed to evaluate the extent to which the learning outcomes required for the Bachelor’s degree in Dam and Water Resources Engineering were achieved. In addition, the council reviewed the academic curriculum to assess its effectiveness in supporting these outcomes.
The meeting also included discussions on the possibility of organizing training courses during the summer break to further strengthen the students’ practical and applied skills.
