Meeting of Industrial Advisory Council in Department of Mechatronics Engineering
The Industrial Advisory Council of Department of Mechatronics Engineering held its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between the academic and industrial sectors and continuing efforts to develop the department’s curricula.
A select group of faculty members and representatives from the industrial sector participated in the meeting, during which attendees discussed mechanisms for aligning academic programs with labor market needs and emphasized the importance of keeping curricula up to date with the rapid technological advancements in the field of mechatronics.
The meeting also included a review of the intended learning outcomes and an overview of modern teaching strategies that ensure the preparation of qualified graduates equipped with skills in design, control, and analysis, and capable of innovation and critical thinking in contemporary industrial work environments.
