Workshop by Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at College of Engineering

As part of implementing the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education (2022–2031), specifically under the theme of Developing Specialized Skills (FD7), the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at College of Engineering organized a workshop entitled “Self-Development Skills and Building a Positive Scientific and Research-Oriented Personality” on Wednesday, May 15, 2025, in the Discussion Hall of Department of Electrical Engineering.
The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Azzam Adnan Mohammed, Head of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit. It aimed to enhance the personal and professional skills of students and graduates, thereby boosting their readiness for the labor market and contributing to the development of a well-informed, positive scientific persona.
The workshop covered several topics, including self-development skills, strategies for building an effective team, and the presentation of modern methodologies that support creative thinking and collaborative work in advanced professional environments. It also emphasized the importance of a research-oriented personality in achieving academic and professional excellence.
The workshop witnessed active participation from students and alumni of the college, who engaged with the topics through discussions and practical applications presented by Dr. Azzam, which enriched the practical value of the session.
This workshop is part of a series of developmental events planned by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, aiming to build the capacities of students and graduates and empower them to effectively face the challenges of the labor market.
