Assistant Professor Dr. Yousif Hashem Abdullah Al-Aqeeli and Lecturer Dr. Ziad Ayoub Suleiman from University of Mosul – College of Engineering – Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, in collaboration with M.Sc. student Radwan Ghazi Suleiman Al-Kassar, have published a scientific research paper entitled:

“Steady-State Groundwater Flow Modeling to Assess Water Demand in Erbil City, Northern Iraq”

The paper was published in the Water Conservation and Management journal, a reputable scientific journal specialized in sustainable water resources management. The journal is indexed in Scopus (Q2) and is distinguished by strong international scientific indicators, including SJR = 0.639, Impact Score = 4.98 (2024), and h-index = 15.

This publication represents a significant academic achievement that contributes to enhancing the scientific ranking of the University of Mosul both locally and internationally. It also reflects the quality of research conducted at the College of Engineering – Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, and supports efforts toward sustainable development and efficient water resources management.
