Training Course in Department of Civil Engineering on “Performance Techniques of Self-Healing Concrete”
As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” , Department of Civil Engineering organized a training course entitled “Performance Techniques of Self-Healing Concrete.”
The course was held from October 19 to 23, 2025, and was directed toward faculty members and engineers of the College.
The course aimed to introduce the concepts and performance techniques of self-healing concrete, focusing on the technologies and advantages associated with its use.
Lectures were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Salwa Mubarak Abdullah (lecturer and course supervisor), Lecturer Dr. Muna Mubarak Abdullah, and Lecturer Dr. Nadia Khalil Ibrahim.
The program included an overview of self-healing concrete, its key technologies and advantages, and concluded with an assessment exam for the participants.
