Training Course in Department of Mechanical Engineering on “Artificial Intelligence with Gemini: Engineering Applications from Fundamentals to Practical Implementation”

As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering and its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Department of Mechanical Engineering held a training course on Sunday, November 16, 2025, titled “Artificial Intelligence with Gemini: Engineering Applications from Fundamentals to Practical Implementation.” The course comes within the department’s plans to enhance the skills of its staff and enable them to use modern technologies in both academic and engineering fields.
The course included a detailed presentation on the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its practical applications, with a focus on the “Gemini” platform and its role in supporting education, research, and innovation. The scientific material was presented by the following faculty members:
Asst. Prof. Mohammed Najeeb Abdullah, Lecturer Suha Hashim Ahmed, Lecturer Ghaida Ibrahim Hussein, Asst. Lecturer Rawaa Talal, and Asst. Lecturer Tara Nashwan, through practical demonstrations and direct applications that enhanced participants’ understanding and engagement.
This course is part of a series of developmental activities organized by the department to keep pace with technological advancements, promote a culture of innovation, and elevate the professional skills of the college’s staff.
